Vacancy Department: Sales and Business Development

The Sales Engineer will deliver sales in Norway, by managing existing ICR clients, building on existing relationships, as well as sourcing new business development opportunities within ICR’s current accounts to deliver upon agreed sales targets. 

The Sales Engineer will have a technical background and understanding, as well as a good level of understanding an appreciation for the North Sea client base and use best practice to represent ICR professionally in the market. 

This role will report to the General Manager – Norway. 

  • Develop a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities with a six month look ahead and ensure this is kept up to date on a weekly basis using the company CRM system.
  • To develop and retain positive relationships with new and existing customers and foster positive relationships within the ICR organisation.
  • Review and consolidate existing contracts with a view to maximising group revenue – proposing new commercial terms and incentives for clients.
  • To work closely with the General Manager and Sales team to ensure successful account management across the business and agree on business development targets for the business and coordinate efforts across the sales team.
  • In-depth competitor analysis for the Norwegian market to be managed within the Key Account Management plans. Proactive collection and reporting of market data on services, products, customers and contracts etc.
  • To positively and professionally represent ICR at conferences, trade shows and networking events with an aim to continually gather intelligence and feed back to the business using the appropriate tools.
  • Responsible for delivering or exceeding agreed annual individual company target.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenge.
  • Maintaining strong relationships within designated Key Accounts on behalf of the Company.
  • Ensuring all Key Account plans are kept up to date at all times to include competitor analysis, market intelligence and commercial analysis.
  • Ensure annual sales targets and strategic objectives are met or exceeded by the team.
  • Retain current clients and grow the client base for the business unit and the wider ICR group.
  • Recognise and adhere to all company HSEQ policies.
  • Degree qualification preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales experience in the oil industry.
  • Experience of working within the oil and gas sector in Norway preferred.
  • Technically minded – technical knowledge to ensure a sale.

 The main purpose of the Sales Associate role is to engage and manage existing clients, building on existing relationships, along with sourcing new business opportunities within ICR’s current accounts to drive and deliver agreed sales targets for the Repair Division Services of ICR, including Technowrap Engineered Composites, Quickflange Weldless Connectors and ISNONO. 

The primary focus for this role will involve drive business sales of new and existing clients to meet sales targets and growth in the Americas. 

  • Drive existing business sales to deliver the Repair Business Development strategy and secure revenues, as per the annual business plan.
  • Support the Sales Team in securing new business sales.
  • To further develop current client relationships and drive future sales.
  • Achieving sales targets within the region.
  • Develop a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities with a six month look ahead and ensure this is kept up to date on a weekly basis using the company SAP system.
  • To develop and retain positive relationships with new and existing customers and foster positive relationships within the ICR organisation.

The main purpose of the Sales Manager role is to establish and retain business opportunities for the Repair Division Services of ICR, including Technowrap™ Engineered Composites, Quickflange™ Weldless Connectors and INSONO™.

The primary focus for this role will involve obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships, whilst growing the business within the Americas, to increase revenue from sales. As part of this there may be an element of account and partner management involved however primarily a sales & business development role. Responsible for developing and securing sales in accordance with the agreed business development strategy, as per the annual business plans.

This role will report to the Business Development Director, USA.

  • Drive new business sales to deliver the Repair Business Development strategy and secure revenues, as per the annual business plan.
  • Achieving sales targets within the region.
  • Identify new leads, partners and industries in order to generate business for the Repair division.
  • Assist in the development of a new market strategy to help determine the best approach to new markets where required, including market research and mapping as well as competitive landscape.
  • Manage key strategic accounts and partners that are already established.
  • To further develop current client relationships and drive future sales.
  • To support the development of relationships with key suppliers and partners.
  • Develop a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities with a six month look ahead and ensure this is managed and kept up to date using the company’s Pipedrive CRM system.
  • Maintain and identify new opportunities to achieve financial performance of the Repair Division.
  • Develop strategy, tactics, sales pursuit plans and targets for the Repair Division.
  • To carry out weekly forecasting within Pipedrive, to ensure revenues in the month are aligned with actuals.
  • Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
