We are looking for a Commercial Advisor to join ICR, based in Aberdeen. – Fixed-Term (12 month) Vacancy

The Commercial Advisor will support the Commercial team, preparing and co-ordinating tenders and proposals within client deadlines supported by the business units.

This role will report to the Contracts and Commercial Lead.

The main tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • To create and manage commercial / technical proposals in SAP;
  • To ensure that the ICR Proposals and Tender Process is adhered to at all times;
  • In conjunction with the engineering team, prepare technical and commercial proposals
  • Actively lead the co-ordination of the tenders process from receipt to submission with support from BU Leads, including undertaking all Client portal submissions as required;
  • Host tender kick off meetings, create an action log and ensure response timelines are actively managed and adhered to
  • Support with compilation cost estimates;
  • To liaise with clients / organise and attend meetings during the proposal and tender process;
  • To ensure that tenders and proposals are checked and approved in a timely fashion / from both a technical and commercial perspective;
  • Support with internal governance relating to delegation of authority compliance
  • On receipt of client purchase orders, complete Sales orders in SAP system;
  • Accountable for the completion and response issuance for any business pre-qualification process;
  • Actively manage and track updates in various client based online vendor management systems (Avetta, Ariba, Sequal, FPAL, Achilles UVDB, ISN etc)
  • Team working, helping each other, and standing in for each other, as required and planned;
  • Provide guidance and support development of junior members of the Commercial team
  • Undertaking any other activities and support as determined by line manager.

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of preparing and drafting commercial / technical proposals
  • Experience of co-ordinating and preparing tender responses mandatory
  • Experience in co-ordinating, completing and submitting prequalification responses essential
  • Experience in reviewing Contract terms and conditions advantageous

We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join the ICR team based in Aberdeen.

The Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of the Aberdeen Workshop activities.

The Workshop Supervisor will support the Workshop & Stores Manager to correctly prepare, plan and execute various work-fronts under strict job-carding controls (where applicable). This will include, but will not be limited to, the application of HSEQ controls, full QA/QC of all product and service lines prior to dispatch, working with the Goods-In/Out Procedure to ensure movements of inventory and assets are executed in line with the company processes and procedures. This will also include the allocation of personnel to jobs in the workshop, ensuring the work is carried out within specified time periods.

This role will report to the Workshop & Stores Manager.

The main tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the Workshop & Stores Manager to oversee safe working of staff and contractors who are in the workshop, including preparation of any necessary Permit to Work (job card) documents.
  • To distribute work to the technicians, ensuring that they are provided with any necessary information required to carry out the work, along with hours to complete / client deadlines.
  • Ensure toolbox talks and risk assessments are carried out and signed off.
  • Ensure interface between operations teams is maintained and daily, weekly and monthly deliverables are achieved across all product and service lines.
  • Responsible for all QA/QC checks on all product and service lines are carried out as per job requirements.
  • Assist with the management & development of BMS related processes under supervision.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure all min/max levels are agreed with Workshop & Stores Manager.
  • Assist with hose management and organising general workshop tasks.
  • Assist with maintenance and continual improvement of company asset registers and trackers.
  • Assist with ensuring that the Workshop, Loading Bay, Stores and Technician Areas are adequately maintained, organised and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Ensure good, safe working practices in the workshop are maintained at all times with compliance to the Company’s HSE policies.
  • Provide weekly updates to Workshop & Stores Manager on all activities.
  • Maintain records in accordance with internal quality systems, procedures and ISO 9001.
  • Comply with the Company Quality and Health and Safety procedures.
Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:
  • Relevant test, repair or manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of PTW systems, job-carding and risk assessment
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Word and Excel (minimum) and SAP (preferable).

We are looking for a Technician to join the Integrity Monitoring Business within ICR’s Inspection and Integrity Management Division, based in Aberdeen

This is a workshop-based role, with regular offshore and international travel required.

The Technician will work with the Operations Team to deliver corrosion monitoring services in accordance with Company targets and client demands.

This role will report to the Technical Manager – NECE

The main tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Site works including various corrosion monitoring and microbiology survey, and additional ad-hoc requirements while assisting Lead Technicians.
  • Assisting with technical reporting and analysis.
  • Implementation and reviewing of all job specific work packs, risk assessments, procedures, work instructions and method statements.
  • Assist with maintenance of technical procedures and work instructions.
  • Liaise with Technical Manager as and when required to assist with workshop duties and routine equipment maintenance, testing and job preparation.
  • Project related support, kit lists, registers, purchasing, logistics, updating stock, etc.
  • Contribute to daily operations meetings and improvement sessions.
  • Daily progress update to Project Manager and Onshore Operations team.

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join the ICR team based in Aberdeen.

The Head of Finance position will join our leadership team and will strive to apply the highest standards of leadership, management and coordination of the Finance & Procurement Teams, along with IT external partners.

This role will be responsible for ensuring effective management and coordination of financial reporting, including coordination of periodic forecast, budget, cash flow management, budget and strategy initiatives across the Group. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

The main tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Part of the ICR Leadership Team, reporting to the CFO.
  • Management of Finance team, consisting of 9 personnel including, Financial Controller, 2-3 Chartered Accountants, Assistant Accountant, Payroll Coordinator, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger
  • Coordinator and Accounts Receivable Coordinator.
  • Management of Procurement team consisting of 6, including Supply Chain Manager, Buyer, Junior Buyer, Travel Coordinator, Facilities Coordinator and Logistics Coordinator.
  • Responsible for the Finance function across all ICR Global locations, including UK Norway, Americas, Middle East, Australia.
  • Lead preparations of the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecast for the Group and within the timeline expected.
  • Management of external audit process.
  • Oversee Global tax compliance (including UK, USA, Iraq, Norway, Oman) with advisors.
  • Cash flow/Treasury oversight.
  • Preparation of monthly board pack with CFO and leadership team.
  • Manage the month-end process with the business to deliver accurate and robust detail in accrued income and direct cost accruals.
  • Manage all financial processes and provide support to commercial and operations for goal attainment.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly forecast.
  • Responsibility for treasury and liquidity management.
  • Submission of bank MI and covenant compliance documentation.
  • Preparation of annual budget in conjunction with business planning process.
  • Responsibility for business systems including ERP (SAP B1).

The Technician will work within the Composites team, to apply all Engineered Composite Repair products onshore and offshore in line with client requirements in compliance with ICR procedures. 

This role will report to the Senior Project Manager or International Project Manager.

  • To be responsible for the application of all Technowrap composite products onshore and offshore in line with client requirements and in compliance with all ICR procedures. 
  • To become totally conversant and have a full and detailed understanding of all of the Engineered Composite Repairs business processes and how they apply in the running of the business. 
  • Working with / supervising third parties when required. 
  • To take responsibility for one’s own safety and for the safety of others working within ICR and whilst representing ICR on an external work site. 
  • Participate in the ‘Buddy System’ by actively supporting and mentoring trainee technicians and when working alongside other technical support provided by other ICR companies. 
  • Compliance with and commitment to Company’s HSEQ policies and procedures. 
  • To assist the Operations Team in providing a high level of technical support to all customers. 
  • To become fully competent in the Application of Technowrap Core, Technowrap 2K, Technowrap 2K, Technowrap 2K HT, Technowrap 2K HA onto the entire complex geometry pipe work configurations; Carbon Fibre and Compression Techniques. 
  • Carry out special projects or duties as assigned by the Operations Team. 
  • From time to time it may be necessary for employees to carry out other relevant tasks and duties to contribute towards achieving total customer satisfaction and improving the operational effectiveness of the Company. 
  • To assist in the management of the warehouse where applicable. 
  • Must have willingness to travel and work from various offshore/onshore/UK and overseas locations.
