ICR has developed a strong track record of delivering Technowrap™ composite repairs across the Caspian region, adding to the technology’s successful history, which dates back to 1992 and includes more than 50,000 repair applications worldwide. With design lives of up to 20 years, Technowrap™ can restore pipelines, pipework, and structures of varying geometries. It can also be applied to live assets without requiring shutdown, making it a versatile and practical alternative to traditional welding and steel replacement that delivers significant operational, cost, and safety benefits.
Composite Repair Inspection
Our composite repair capabilities are further strengthened by INSONO™, our non-intrusive composite repair inspection technology. Developed specifically for inspecting Technowrap™ repairs, INSONO™ utilises acoustic inspection techniques to assess the condition of in-service repairs. This unique technology detects laminate delaminations and bond-line disbonds, providing a comprehensive assessment of repair health that enables informed decisions on continued service and life extension.
Weldless Flange-to-Pipe Connections
Quickflange™ is a robust, cost-effective alternative to traditional welding for flange-to-pipe connections. Using a modified standard flange with patented internal grooves and a bespoke hydraulic activation tool, it creates a permanent, gas-tight connection without the need for hot work. Suitable for repair, maintenance, and new construction projects, Quickflange™ helps operators reduce downtime, improve safety, and deliver significant cost, time, and sustainability benefits.
