ICR conducts all our business activities in a manner which complies with the laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate and to internationally recognised standards.
Where no applicable legislation or standards exist, ICR operates in accordance with the standards in this Policy.
ICR provides appropriate resources and actively engages the participation of our workforce, employees, sub-contractors and clients in safeguarding the health and safety of all parties involved in our business activities.
Specifically, ICR strives to:
Document roles and responsibilities at all levels of the organisation;
Provide the resources, training and competence assessment necessary for effective delivery of this Policy;
Set objectives and achievable targets, which promote continual improvement in performance;
Identify hazards, and assess the risks in normal and abnormal operations including planned changes;
Communicate openly with employees and other interested parties likely to be affected by our operations, to promote practices and conditions that support this Policy;
Maintain systems and procedures for the design, manufacture, maintenance and operations of our scopes of work, which ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the prevention of ill health and injury to those involved;
Identify foreseeable emergencies and their consequences and prepare, test and review emergency response plans;
Report and investigate accidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses to identify root cause in order to prevent re-occurrence;
To ensure that the management of Health and Safety risks by those sub-contract companies whom we engage with is consistent with our own approach;
Achieve continual improvement through a cycle of audit and review; and
Periodically review the suitability and effectiveness of this Policy, our management systems, objectives and targets.
This Policy statement is applicable to all ICR Companies, Subsidiaries, Branch Operations and is available to all interested parties.
