Last Saturday (11th May, 2019) 65 hardy souls including members of ICR's Kendal base took on the challenge of the annual Keswick to Barrow (K2B) Walk/Run
The walking and running event covers 40 miles on a challenging route through the Cumbria countryside and attracts over 1,200 participants each year; all raising money for charities and good causes.
Led by ICR's Darryl Dixon - ICR's Sales Director in Kendal - this year's team enjoyed superb views and various refreshment stops along the way.
Darryl said: "All 65 entrants completed the walk and we all made it in safely but very sore! We're expecting to raise between £10-14K for 3 local charities - PSP Association, St Mary's Hospice and Levens Valley AC."
The team's youngest memeber, Harvey Cooper was the first overall junior boy home in a time of 7h 05m 41s.
Well done to all invloved on behalf of ICR - if anyone would like to join the team for the 2020 event, please contact Darryl Dixon on 01539 737000 or email darryl.dixon@icr-world.com
