Training Objectives
The objective of this training programme is to equip external personnel with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to successfully install Quickflange™ connectors in accordance with ICR’s standards, processes, and procedures.
Participants will develop the competency required to install Quickflange™ connectors up to and including 8” NPS. Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive certification valid for 24 months, authorising them to carry out Quickflange™ installations without supervision.

Pre-requisites
There are no mandatory prerequisites for this course. However, a basic understanding of piping and mechanical connectors, as well as rigging practices, would be advantageous.
Certificate Expiration & Revalidation
Upon completion, installers will receive a 24-month certificate.
To extend certification validity, candidates must complete 6 additional installations within the initial 24 months, logged on the Job Verification Document (JVD) and returned to ICR. Refresher training is required for those unable to fulfil the installation quota within the specified timeframe.
Advanced Training Objectives
The advanced course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to install Quickflange™ connectors up to and including 12”NPS, using XP3 tooling.
It is recommended that candidates gain practical experience following completion of the standard course before completing the advanced training course.
This experience should be demonstrated through submitted Job Verification Documents (JVDs).
In certain circumstances, candidates may progress directly to the advanced course following evaluation of their understanding during the standard training programme, subject to approval by an ICR Assessor.
Exclusions
The use of the largest Quickflange™ installation tooling (D5) is reserved for ICR Quickflange™ Supervisors due to the equipment size, weight and additional installation considerations.
