Not one resin is ideal for all composite repair conditions. ICR ensure all our resin systems are formulated for optimum performance.
The resins used in our Technowrap™ composite repairs are chemically resistant to a wide range of fluids present in industrial sectors.
Regular testing is also carried out on all resin systems, in order to demonstrate the results clients can expect from our products. We have a strong track record of collaborating with operators and industry bodies to design and deliver composite products that are both innovative and fit for purpose. Each resin system can be combined with our range of Technowrap™ reinforcement materials to provide the desired properties of the repair.
Low Temperature (LT)
Our LT resin can be used with ICR's 2K, HP PRS, PRS, SRS reinforcement materials. The ambient cure epoxy resin system cures in 24 hours and temperature range is -75°C to 90°C. Ideally suited to offshore North Sea conditions.
High Temperature (HT)
ICR's HT resin can be used with our 2K, HP PRS, PRS, SRS repair systems. The HT epoxy resins system requires post curing and temperature range is 90°C to 220°C.
High Ambient (HA)
With very similar properties to our LT epoxy resin system, HA resin was developed to provide a suitable pot life in hotter conditions, where the LT resin would cure far too quickly. It is ideally suited to middle eastern conditions and other areas of the world where temperatures are in the 25°C to 90°C range.
An ambient cure epoxy resin system for 100% Glycol (TEG or MEG) service up to 90°C.
Our potable glass fibre reinforcement epoxy resin is specifically formulated for use in drinking water applications. Technowrap Potable™ resin system is combined with glass reinforcement materials and can be used on all pipe work components.
Ultra Low Temperature (ULT)
Our ULT resin has been created with the cold North Sea winters in mind. The system is suited to structural repairs where substrate temperature is very low and offers a good working life at low ambient temperatures.
A Deck Rehabilitation system for damaged or corroded deck areas, combining the properties of the Technowrap SRS™ carbon fibre and an enhanced impact resistant epoxy resin system to provide a tough laminate suited to decks and walk ways where there is a potential for impact. This is then combined with an anti-slip external coating that is applied as a final layer. Full design calculations are provided, demonstrating not only is the repaired deck strong enough to carry the applied loads, but it is also tough enough to dissipate any potential impact.
A resin designed for application of repairs on wet or submerged surfaces, this resin is combined with any of the Technowrap™ range of reinforcement materials to provide a repair laminate with properties suited to the repair in hand. Applications include caissons and risers suffering corrosion in the splashzone area or subsea pipelines.
