We are looking for a full-time Sales Engineer to join the Norway team.
The Sales Engineer will have overall responsibility for the delivery of Sales in Norway, by managing existing ICR clients, building on existing relationships plus sourcing new business development opportunities within ICR’s current accounts to deliver upon agreed sales targets. Having a technical background, as well as a good level of understanding and appreciation for the North Sea client base, use best practice to represent ICR professionally in the market. Travel will be required in this role, covering a client based in Stavanger, Bergen and Trondheim.
The role reports to the Head of Sales.
The main tasks involved in the role are:
Develop a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities with a six month look ahead and ensure this is kept up to date on a weekly basis using the company SAP system.
To develop and retain positive relationships with new and existing customers and foster positive relationships within the ICR organisation.
Review and consolidate existing contracts with a view to maximising group revenue – proposing new commercial terms and incentives for clients.
To positively and professionally represent ICR at conferences, trade shows and networking events with an aim to continually gather intelligence and feed back to the business using the appropriate tools.
To work closely with the Head of Sales to ensure the successful implementation of Key Account Management across the business and agree on business development targets for the business and coordinate efforts across the sales team.
In-depth competitor analysis for the Norwegian market to be managed within the Key Account Management plans. Proactive collection and reporting of market data on services, products, customers and contracts etc.
The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering an agreed annual individual company target.
Maintaining strong relationships within designated Key Accounts on behalf of the Company.
Ensuring all Key Account plans are kept up to date at all times to include competitor analysis, market intelligence and commercial analysis.
Ensure annual sales targets and strategic objectives are met or exceeded by the team.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all promotional material is up to date and fit for purpose.
Retain current clients and grow the client base for the business unit and the wider ICR group.

The successful candidate should hold the following to conduct this role safely and successfully:
Degree qualification (preferred)
Experience of working within a sales role
Experience of working within the oil and gas sector in Norway (preferred)
Job specific technical training
