Project Manager - Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a full time Project Manager to join the team in Abu Dhabi

The Project Manager will be responsible for day to day management of Operations and implementation of HSEQ within the Operations Department for all deliverables in Middle East and Caspian.

The role reports to the Middle East General Manager.

The main tasks involved in the role are:

  • Preparation and delivery of Operations budget and objectives.
  • Close liaison with Onsite Technicians and management of all day to day activities required in the completion of all projects.
  • Support Sales personnel with client management and expectations.
  • Maintaining and improving the appropriate technical procedures and work instructions.
  • Advising on, developing, approving and updating, in conjunction with the General Manager, planning schedules/personnel logistics to reflect resource allocations in line with various project requirements and with client requests.
  • Compilation and issuing of the ‘Final Report’ to the client and ensuring the archiving of relevant project records.
  • Development and production of client proposals, tenders and cost estimates.
  • Liaising with the various departments/contacts within the Company to ensure smooth flow of information for operational planning purposes.
  • Materials planning/inventory management and dealing with supply chain.
  • Assist with the growth of ICR, present opportunities to the business and actively contribute to development meetings and sessions.
  • Work with the Middle East General Manager on operational improvements, HSEQ, training programs, competency levels, etc.

The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensuring adequate resources and competency of personnel to carry out project requirements, whilst maintaining compliance with the Company Business Management Systems.
  • Ensuring that technical queries raised by the various project teams are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that relevant invoices and Variation Order requests are submitted to the client in a timely manner.

The successful applicant will possess knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and particularly HSEQ requirements. Candidates should have a demonstrable track record at problem-solving and working to tight deadlines. Excellent communication and the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organisation and external contacts is a must. Candidates should also have strong commercial awareness. They should possess the ability to manage multiple work scopes on a day-to-day basis.
