We are looking for an E&I Engineer to join the Engineering team at ICR on a temporary basis, for approximately 3 months.
The main purpose of the role will be working with the Engineering Team to develop the Electrical and Instrumentation capabilities within the business, this includes design/initial concept, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance.
The role reports to the Engineering Technical Authority.
Main tasks include:
Plan, organise and deliver Technical and Project Build activities.
Compile electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation packages in line with project needs.
Preparation of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment datasheets.
Lead the technical preparation and assessment of Electrical and Instrumentation tenders, quotations, work instructions, workscopes and proposals.
Accurate and timely completion of technical reports and documentation to clients.
Create and update P&IDs using AutoCAD.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the design and development of electrical and instrumentation services and products within the business
Delivery of projects and scopes of work in line with client requirements.
Assist and support the delivery of technical improvements and innovations in line with business development.
Support sales / business development team at client meetings and where required provide technical lead.
Carry out periodic reviews of “electrical” and “instrumentation” supplier base to ensure ongoing suitability for the business on the basis of quality, cost, service levels, etc.
Fully comply with and show commitment to Company HSEQ policies and procedures.
The candidate must be qualified to degree level (with a relevant engineering discipline).
