ICR has already seen significant interest in both Quickflange™ weldless connection technology and Technowap™ engineered composite repair solutions in Trinidad and look set to secure the first scope of work very soon.
Technowrap™ is used to rehabilitate damaged pipework, pipelines and structural components. ICR also specialise in the repair of damaged and corroded deck areas using Technowrap™ DRS (Deck Rehabilitation System) which is a unique solution using rubber toughened epoxy to ensure the laminate withstands applied loads and impacts of the deck. ICR also support the engineered composite repair of caisson and risers through the use of Technowrap Splashzone™ which can be applied on wet surfaces, submerged environments and also in high humidity.
ICR’s patented Quickflange™ technology is a leading high performance permanent weldless flange to pipe connector, providing safe and cost-effective solutions while improving pipeline integrity and flow assurance.
As part of the partnership, ICR plan to train local Trinidad & Tobago personnel in the application of Technowrap™ and installation of Quickflange™ technologies. This combined with all equipment and materials being stored in Trinidad, allows ICR to deliver responsive solutions and the ability to operate safely at pace, meeting specific client needs in country.
